Our favourite part of this remarkable Palm Desert home wasn't the glorious saltwater infinity pool and spa surrounded by chaise longues and loveseats, nor was it the retractable glass walls that opens up the luxurious interior to the large terrace — instead, we couldn't help but be charmed by the citrus grove found on the west side of the property. Here, fruit grows in abundance and is ready to be picked for fresh juice in the morning, while a variety of flowers and birds can also be spotted. Along with the mountain and desert views that circle this address, you could be excused for feeling as if you're in the middle of nowhere. However, if truth be told, you're only six minutes' drive from the shops of El Paseo and the same distance from three golf courses. You really do get the best of both worlds here.
