16 years after meeting at Oakland's Oliveto Restaurant and a 10 year break from restaurants, Joel Bleskacek and Maxine Siu decided to take their passion for food and wine a step further.
In April 2010, they stumbled upon a vacant architect studio right in their very own Potrero Hill neighborhood and construction began shortly thereafter. In line with their belief in "keeping things local", Joel and Maxine used contractors within their zip code and sourced materials all within the Bay Area.
Joel and Maxine treat Plow as an extension of their home, where they often entertain friends and family by preparing seasonal and simple, well-made food sourced from local farms. It is all about bringing family and friends together to celebrate life. Plow is a tribute to timeless recipes coupled with California cooking and warm hospitality.
Enjoy locally sourced farm food in the big city.
This family-owned restaurant gives San Francisco locals, transplants, and travelers the chance to experience food the way it should be, seasonal and simple with timeless recipes.
