Venue Setting
Named the Top Coastal Town 2020 by Which? Magazine, St Mawes is perfect if you’re seeking the privacy and exclusivity that other parts of the Cornish coastline are missing. There are fantastic opportunities for watersports including sailing and windsurfing, while the clear waters are perfect for fishing and spotting the sea life. Stargazers is a great base to explore both the village and Cornwall as a whole. St Mawes Castle is a few minutes’ walk away, while the centre of the village isn’t much further. And if you can tear yourself away, you're a twenty-minute ferry crossing from the creative hub that is Falmouth, while there are a number of picturesque fishing villages nearby including Portscatho and Portloe. The home itself is set in a lovely, south-facing garden, with several levels and wonderful views out to sea. On top of that, host Amanda goes the extra mile to ensure that your stay is special. She’s thought of every possibility, from providing a full games room (and some more traditional board games) to keep you entertained on rainy days, to running a bespoke concierge service. Everything from a private chef or a picnic hamper, to babysitting, to a full massage can be arranged.
