Venue Setting

The Nest at Ruth Farms is a beautiful, brand new luxury wedding venue and chapel set on 6 acres of rolling hills tucked away in Ponder, TX. Located 15 minutes outside of Denton, The Nest can accommodate up to 300 guests and features a climate-controlled indoor chapel, an outdoor ceremony site beside a breathtaking natural Texas landscape, and an indoor reception space with stunning natural lighting and attention to detail.

Our 8,000 sq ft barn is completely decked in white inside and out with lots of windows to let in natural lighting (which your photographer will love)! When walking in the entry, you will be greeted by our grand mercury glass mirrored doors originally from France! We have a spacious on-site bridal and groom's suite as well as a full catering kitchen, a beautiful marble countertop service bar in the entry, an upstairs indoor balcony, and a Romeo and Juliet balcony outside. The Nest happily includes 300 white cross-back chairs and 32 60" rounds for your guests. We also provide one set up and one teardown of your tables and chairs at the end of the evening.

We work with some of the best wedding vendors in the DFW area and would be happy to supply you with our preferred vendor list to help get the planning started! Whether you are planning a corporate party, ministry event, baby shower, or your wedding, we would love to be the backdrop for your special day!

Venue Features
The Scene:
Winding two-lane farm roads in Ponder, TX lead you to our property which sits on 36 serene acres of untouched farmland in Ponder, TX. As you pull in our large parking lot, you will feel a sense of calm and peace from the city that you can only obtain being completely surrounded by open fields. Our venue sits on top of a small hill which offers picturesque views of the Ponder Valley. 
Design:
The Nest is an 8,000 sq ft whitewashed romantic venue and chapel that serves as the perfect backdrop for any event or photoshoot. Upon entry, we have authentic gray barn doors that are used for photos. Stepping into the entry you will be greeted by large antique mercury glass French doors which are a favorite for photographers. Once you step into the main hall, you will notice our ornate gold chandeliers hanging from our 40' ceiling. Throughout the venue, we have beautiful marble countertops with touches of acrylic and nods to French romanticism. Our bridal suite is roomy enough to hold parties of 10-20.

Right next door, our brand new chapel that was newly completed in September 2022 serves as a stunning indoor ceremony space. Our couples enjoy peace of mind knowing that they'll have a beautiful climate-controlled ceremony option come rain or shine. The best part? You'll never have to worry about a room flip or unpredictable Texas weather!

Our groom's suite has room for up to 8 men and comfortable seating with an Americana feel! Located past our beautiful courtyard at the back of the chapel, the groom's suite provides the perfect space for the groomsmen to kick up their feet before the exciting happenings of the day. This room features 2 flatscreen TVs with streaming capabilities, a mini fridge, private restroom, and a gorgeous view of the green Texas landscape.
