Venue Setting

The Round Barn sits at the base of the Tobacco Root Mountains in the heart of the Ruby Valley. A few miles to the west is the confluence of four of Montana’s most famous fly fishing rivers. It is on the route for those traveling between Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. It is just down the road from Virginia City, Montana’s first Territorial Capitol and America’s best preserved Gold Rush Era town.

Venue Features
The Scene:
The Round Barn was built in 1882 for the Doncaster Stable and Stud farm. The Barn, complete with an interior circular track, was home to both champion thoroughbreds and trotters. Its most famous horse was Spokane, winner of the 1889 Kentucky Derby, and the only racehorse from Montana to ever win such a title. Now, The Barn has been beautifully preserved and restored to host an array of events your guests won't soon forget. 
Design:
After two years of tedious construction, the Round Barn has been thoughtfully renovated and restored for your wedding or event. Inside the Barn, ceilings were opened up to maximize light and reveal the beauty of the structure. Lighting on the interior and exterior was added to highlight the structure perfectly. Restrooms, dressing rooms, a large catering kitchen, bar area and audio/visual equipment were also added.
Standout Venue Features:
While our venue is a rustic barn, the amenities make your event planning go as smoothly as possible. Complete with a commercial kitchen, bar area, band/DJ area, indoor restrooms, onsite dressing rooms and a manicured lawn with endless views of mountains and trees for your outdoor celebration. To complete your outdoor ceremony we have wooden benches while inside there is a set of tables and chairs. In addition, there are two pull-down screens complete with projectors as well as a wireless microphone and speakers throughout the space.
