Built over a century ago, the historic 6,000-square-foot home and barn offers a lot of beauty to work with. A sprawling lawn, adorned in bistro lights and surrounded by the near-mystic southern woods, allows guests to roam free without ever wandering too far from the fun.

Venue Setting

Hidden treasures of the past help make one of North Georgia’s most premier wedding venues charming, eclectic, and classic. Built in 1906 by the owner of The Wheeler lumber yard, the venue was shaped with top choice lumber- all 6,000 square feet of floors are heart pine tongue and groove, as well as the walls, ceilings, and two story wrap-around porches. It was not until February of 2010 that The Wheeler House underwent major renovation when owner, Lee Lusk of Canton, Georgia purchased it. For the first time since 1906, The Wheeler House was repaired, renovated, and upgraded.

.25 miles down the road from The Wheeler House, these cottages are exclusive only for Wheeler House clients1 Each cottage has 3 bedrooms/1 bathroom and can sleep roughly 30 guests. Each cotttages is equiped with a full kitchen and bathroom, gathering/dining area, and back porches to overlook our custom built firepit! Clients can secure them for one night or the entire weekend!
