Nestled in 2,500 acres of 800-year old native forest, all inclusive wilderness retreat, Treetops Lodge & Estate is a life-long dream realized by owner and passionate naturalist, John Sax. This uniquely New Zealand experience is a sanctuary and retreat nestled within breath taking terrain, offering world-class accommodation and the adventure plenty of outdoor activities centred around seven streams, four lakes, and over 43 miles of adventure trails.
Design:
Treetop Loge and Estate is a sanctuary of breathtaking terrain. Take in the tranquillity and splendour of the Estate’s 2,500 acres of secluded native forest and game reserve, seven trout streams and four lakes.

Treetops provide adventure for the whole family: junior cooking classes, photography 4WD safaris, horse riding, helicopter tours, Maori poi making and flax weaving, as well as mountain biking, hiking to spectacular waterfalls and active volcanoes and exclusive use at the nearby Jack Nicklaus designed Kinloch Golf Course -The Kinloch Club, sister lodge to Treetops opening mid 2015.

Treat your guests in this beautiful high ceiling room featuring Maori carvings and trophies, a large open fire place and a mini bar. Welcoming up to 150 people, the Great Room is ideal for a wide range of special events including product launches and wedding receptions. For exclusive use of this room, we request you to reserve all twelve accommodation rooms.

Conservatory:
Meet your guests over a hearty and healthy breakfast in the Conservatory and get energized with the changing views over the New Zealand forest and the wide valley next to it. This open space with floor to ceiling windows and opening to the adjoining garden offers the ideal ambience for coffee meetings, high teas and cooking classes.
Dining Room:
Treat your delegates with an indulgent dining experience in the Treetops Dining Room which can accommodate a maximum of 70 people. Our Michelin Star chefs will delight your palate and sweet up your experience with a memorable four course dinner matching the best selection of New Zealand and overseas wines.
