This circa-1760's restored building makes it one of the oldest in the city as well as one of the most beautiful. With a private patio and beautiful brick work as well as original fireplaces and fabulous floors, run don't walk, 'upstairs' as this elegant space is EVERYTHING.

Interior spaces feature exposed brick walls, preserved pine floors, and classic iron chandeliers while an open-air terrace is adorned with climbing ivy and café lights. Our venue rental fee includes use of the property for a 4 hour event, as well as 3 hours of pre-event set up + 1 hour of post-event breakdown.

The property can be rented for longer receptions at a rate of $500/hour.

Additional time for set up + breakdown may be added at a rate of $500/hour.

An impressive inventory of rental items is also included in the venue rental fee, including: dining tables, short cocktail tables, tall cocktail tables, chairs, wooden bar, cafe lighting + entry console tables. Inquire for more details.

Located in the heart of Downtown Charleston on Upper King Street, Surcee's is the perfect venue for your social gatherings, milestone celebrations + business meetings. Our historic venue boasts beautiful exposed brick walls, coffered ceilings, original heart pine floors, gorgeous fireplaces + chandeliers, as well as a private rooftop patio. As guests enter from a private entrance off of conveniently located King Street, they will make their way up a flight of stairs before stepping into a beautiful foyer area. Two identical rooms sit on either side of the foyer while a private roof terrace is accessible through these areas. As you continue through the terrace, you'll access the main parlor which is also connected through the interior clean + maintained guest restrooms.
Design:
Consisting of two intimate rooms, one main parlor + a private rooftop, the versatile floor plan is perfect for fluid cocktail-style parties + seated events. The east, west + main rooms + rooftop terrace can be used as one continuous space.
