Set in the hills of Romagna amongst laurel bushes and olive trees, this sprawling villa embodies coastal Italian living. The whitewashed exterior is framed by a charming seaside awning, and there’s no better spot for an al fresco lunch than at the shady poolside table. Set across four levels, wooden floors and neutral interiors create a homely finish, while each bedroom is tastefully designed, and comes with an en-suite to allow maximum comfort. Mornings can be spent in the dining room overlooking the pool, with sunlight streaming in the large window. The villa is surrounded by a huge private garden spanning over 2000 square metres, which the kids can run around in while you fire up the barbecue for lunch. There is plenty of fun to be had in the surrounding area: you are a six minute drive from the beach in Riccione, an expansive stretch of golden sand dotted with beach bars, seafront restaurants and deck chairs. Come evening, head to one of the excellent Italian restaurants in town, or return to the villa and enjoy sunset cocktails beneath the pergola, as you admire the views over the Adriatic.
