The Lowdown Venue Setting
The Wadsworth Mansion, a nineteenth century Beaux Art style mansion, is the quintessential country estate. Graced by expansive lawns and surrounded by 103 acres of wooded parklands the Mansion reflects an era of grandeur and elegance. There are multiple locations for outdoor ceremonies and guests can enjoy cocktails and dancing on the terrace under the stars. The Mansion can accommodate two hundred guests for a seated dinner reception and larger numbers for cocktail parties. Only one event is scheduled each day and brides can select the caterer of their choice to create the wedding of their dreams.

Quietly grand, our long driveway transports guests to a place that feels far, far away from the tempo of the outside world. As the stately white columns of the mansion come into view through the estate's trees, it is easy to feel peaceful and thrilled all at once. The Italianate facade of the building is a majestic background for ceremonies on our massive back lawn or mingling and merriment on our terrace.

The mansion’s ballrooms with marble fireplaces and coffered ceilings can comfortably accommodate up to two hundred guests for a formal sit down dinner and larger numbers for an informal cocktail reception. The loggia, a sun drenched room with vaulted ceilings and French doors, opens onto a grand patio. Overlooking a seven hundred foot vista, the patio is perfect for entertaining during cocktail hour and dancing beneath the stars. The tennis pavilion and rose trellis provide an intimate setting for an outdoor ceremony.
We want each event to be unique therefore we host only one per day, so you can choose which hours work best for you and determine how you would like to use the space. The mansion is ideal for creating customized weddings and events for the discerning host or hostess, with an extensive list of caterers, and unlimited suggestions for decor and ambiance. All vendors are selected a la carte by the host, which enables each event to be solidly unique.
Extra Perks: Included in the rental price, we provide all of the tables, chairs, and dance floor, including the outdoor tables and ceremony chairs if you would like to have your ceremony on site.
