Tiny homes have become a beloved way of living because it has less of an impact on the environment, your wallet, and overall materialism. The movement has gained welcomed ground in tourism as well—and for good reason. While jetsetting and globetrotting, tiny hotels allow you to have more of a home away from home than simply a room. These cottages, lodges, and treehouses allow you to be devoured by gorgeous landscapes and big-city living without the overwhelming vibe of staying in some grandiose hotel. Tiny hotels help you slip into local life or total tranquility with ease. Check out some our favorites around the world!

Here for a good time, not a long time, we’re going all the way up… up to the mountains, that is. Utah has some of the most gorgeous wedding venues in the world and it’s probably got something to do with those epic mountains and cavernous canyon views. Besides being great for weddings, Utah is also has amazing national parks you can elope or renew your vows at. Beautiful National Parks like Capitol Reef Park, Zion National Park and Utah Salt Flats would make for unique vow renewal and elopement destinations.Whether you’re planning an outdoor wedding in the summertime or would prefer to hibernate in a charming historic schoolhouse, we’ve got your Utah dream wedding, vow renewal or elopement venue covered.

Pack up all your chunky knit sweaters and snow gear because you and your squad aren’t going to want to miss a trip to the slopes this year! This 1889 small town schoolhouse has been gutted and renovated to the gills. Expect lots of airy white space, bright sunlight, reclaimed wood floors, and beds so comfy it’s like you’re sleeping in a cloud. We’d say this is the perfect girls trip for the skiing and snowboarding set, but you might not even want to leave the hotel!

Summer days behind us, we’re welcoming the cooler weather and shorter days with all things s’mores, cider and hibernation related. In an effort to embrace the coziness of fall and the coming winter months, we’ve gathered up some of our favorite fireplaces to sit by with a good book and a big glass of wine. And bonus points: this list also includes noteworthy fireplace backdrop options for winter weddings.

Whoever said Vegas was the baseline for a beautiful bachelorette bash certainly never celebrated at any of these chic locations. When celebrating your bestie bride-to-be, a "sodden farewell to single days" just won't do. In the words of Carrie Bradshaw... "Maybe our girlfriends are our soulmates and guys are just people to have fun with." We're thinking outside the bachelorette bash-box and bringing you most beautiful (and fun) places to say 'sayanara' to single life and "dance with the ones that brought ya" - your besties.

Calling all students! Put your pencils down and escape to a schoolhouse where you won't be tested on anything but your relaxation and drinking skills. No we are not talking about college, we are talking about this stunning downtown Park City boutique hotel and iconic historic landmark. Washington Schoolhouse was built as a school in 1889 and has now graduated to a new level of luxury. After the completion of a total interior renovation (think gutted to the studs), this fabulously preserved 1889 limestone gem reopened in December 2011. There are twelve spectacular rooms/suites for you and your crew to rest your heads at night, reclaimed oak barn wood floors and mountain ice-white marble in the baths. Historic living space with 16ft ceilings, roaring fires, chic ski lounge, heated pool, wine, trees and stars. This is not like any school we have ever been to.
The furnishings you ask? The schoolhouse has a curated collection of European antiques, vintage modern paintings, crystal chandeliers, silver flatware and serving pieces. They even took a little time to create a few custom pieces of their own. You really won't need to do much decorating for an event here. Just bring your trapper keepers, pencil pouches and super chic party dress.
HOW WILL MY GUESTS GET HERE?: Located in the heart of breathtaking Park City, Utah, just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.
