You know that feeling when you’re out for a stroll through a beautiful city park and you find yourself dying of thirst? Well, in Paris, no longer do you have to settle for boring old tap water when you pass a drinking fountain. Instead, it’s all about the bubbly. These won’t be the first fontaine pétillante in the City of Lights, but they’re certainly the most talked-about drinking fountains we know of. The idea is to help keep Parisians hydrated by offering them a water they’re more likely to drink. And in truly glamorous Parisian fashion, that means it should be carbonated. Step aside, La Croix, we’ll be heading to Paris next time we need our sparkling fix.
