Step directly into a bridal shower fairytale that feels entirely classic but moves at a completely modern pace. Think Sofia Coppola meets girlhood in the garden—a total fever dream made real on the lawn of a private Massachusetts estate. Wild at Heart Co. spun an immersive world out of pure romance and visual wit, styling the space with a distinct sense of purpose, playfulness, and unapologetic femininity. The entire design plays beautifully in contradictions: soft and edgy, romantic and irreverent, nostalgic and wildly now.

Plot Twist in the Garden

The setting itself feels like an editorial movie set, staged beneath a black-framed structure tent draped in sweeping velvet and lit by oversized crystal chandeliers that catch the afternoon light. Here, classical stone busts stand elegantly on the grass, playfully styled in modern sunglasses, while a sophisticated palette of soft blush, deep mauve, cherry tones, and Loden green grounds the fantasy in rich, layered textures.

The white trellis concept serves as the ultimate narrative thread guiding everyone through the lawn; framing the entrance in organic greenery, spilling into the dining canopy, and drawing guests straight toward a custom-built bar that asks "Fancy a drink?" in gorgeous, hand-painted watercolor lettering. 

Pastoral Couture Meets a Flower-Heavy Fantasy

The florals by Sweet Talk Floral are a full-volume fantasy. To keep the tables feeling lush and alive, they abandoned traditional arrangements for organic, asymmetrical clusters of orchids, roses, hydrangeas, and delicate field stems that spill across garden-inspired textiles by Lola Valentina. Rich, ripe stone fruits are tucked right into the centerpieces, adding an indulgent nod to the peak and pleasures of summer.

The wardrobe effortlessly became a literal extension of the design. The bride’s soft pink Nicole + Felicia couture gown—a sculptural confection that feels equal parts modern editorial and heirloom, paired perfectly with a classic white parasol. Guests completely understood the assignment, arriving in a gorgeous blur of ruffles, lace, and florals that matched the dreamscape perfectly. Nearby, custom-illustrated matchbooks and bespoke watercolor stationery scattered across the tables complete a look that is opulent, storybook, and entirely too much fun.

Girl Dinner Gets an Estate-Party Glow-Up

The food and beverage program took the internet’s favorite culinary language and gave it a high-country promotion. The menu was kept playful, indulgent, and styled like jewelry. Guests dipped into crisp Caesar salads, perfectly golden French fries, and individual charcuterie baskets that offered an elevated, all-afternoon ease. Over at the bar, the signature cocktails leaned directly into pure personality. The bubbly "Girlhood Spritz" kept things bright and pretty, while the "Wifed Up + Wired" espresso martinis brought the exact kind of high-energy bridal shower nerve the afternoon called for.

Whispers on the Wire and Living Painted Keepsakes

Beyond the menu, the day thrived on participatory details that felt deeply personal. A live watercolor artist from Art Experienced captured guests in real time, spinning guest fashion into ethereal portraits that doubled as performance art and custom keepsakes. Just a few feet away, a vintage crystal rotary phone sat on a vibrant, garden-printed tablecloth, acting as a playful audio guestbook for friends to dial in and leave a whisper of late-summer love notes.
