Of gorgeous 1920's Spanish Revival design, this former women’s club has been carefully restored to become a stylish 17,200-square-foot event space. Exposed brick, detailed archways, hand-stenciled ceilings, ornate fountains, and a sky-lit covered courtyard.

Venue Setting

Built by the philanthropic Ebell sisters in 1924, the Ebell with it’s Churrigueresque-style architecture has long been a historic landmark of Long Beach and a popular event and wedding destination in Southern California. The Ebell’s twenty-five thousand square feet of gorgeous event space has been reimagined into a bright, functional new version of it’s already stunning self. The venue features an on site bridal suite, a sky-lit courtyard with hanging crystal pendants, a furnished library room, and stately ballroom with a grand fireplace and exquisite chandeliers.

With it's decades long legacy, the venue has been officially designated as a historic venue in Long Beach. The Ebell also has distinctive architectural details and is a prime example of the Spanish-Revival design favored during the 1920's. Featuring the characteristic red-tile roof and a soaring intricately sculpted portico makes a dramatic statement and a beautiful backdrop for photographs. Rich details and a variety of textures allow you to experience intimacy and grandeur in one stunning venue, making your event possibilities limitless.
