Venue Setting

Located in the town of Sebago, just minutes from the lake is a charming and rustic New England barn and farm nestled amongst the mountainous pine forests of Western Maine.

Built c. 1817, the 70 wooded acres surrounding the farm have replaced the grazing fields of the past, but the barn and stone walls built by the Haley Family endure. Garden Gate at Haley Farm is waiting to be your dream Maine wedding venue to come together with family and friends and celebrate your quintessential barn wedding.

Location
Garden Gate at Haley Farm is located in Sebago, Maine, a quiet town on the western shore of Sebago Lake. We are located 35 minutes from Windham, Maine, 45 minutes from North Conway, New Hampshire and the White Mountains, and 50 minutes from Portland. The Sebago Lake Region is one of the best spots in Maine for vacation, providing numerous rental cottages, B & B's, and campgrounds. Windham, North Conway, and the Portland area provide major hotel accommodations.

Venue Features
The scene:
Our 70 wooded acres are surrounded by stone walls and include a barn, lawn, and open pasture. Guests will celebrate in a historic barn that retains much of its original rustic charm. Signature cocktails may be enjoyed in the built-in bar made of wood reclaimed from the former horse stalls. Continuing through the barn, haylofts have been removed to reveal a soaring three-story ceiling. Hanging doors at the back of the barn lead guests to a wide deck, 2-stories high where guests take in the view of the forrest or follow steps down to the adjacent lawn to enjoy a game of cornhole or s'mores by the fire-pit. A fern-lined trail leads through the woods to open clearing for the ceremony. Photo opportunities abound with the open pasture, perennial gardens, a cut flower garden, stone walls, and 100 year old maple trees.
Standout venue features:
We offer additional services including in-house bar tending, on-site day-of coordinator, bulk flowers for DIY flowers grown on the barn, and on-site baker for cake and desserts.
Extra perks:
Tables and chairs for 150 guests, fire-pit and benches, benchs for on-site ceremony, prop rentals from our collection (milk glass vases, chalkboards, vintage plates, etc.), arbor for ceremony site, auxillary tables for guest book, memorial table, etc. Pets allowed. On-site accommodations for up to 14.

2017's Most Stunning Barns Across The USA
There’s something pretty wonderful about a wedding at a barn. You’re often away from the city, hidden from the world, and surrounded by nature. The sun stretches its beams in full during the ceremony and the moon watches over the festivities of the reception. It’s a really good deal. We love all kinds of barns, from peaceful forest scenes in the Pacific Northwest to sprawling lawn offerings in the South. There’s a storybook quality to them and it always seems like the most welcoming atmosphere and spirited celebration around. That’s why we put together the latest edition of this annual collection. Make sure to check out the previous editions of our favorite wedding barns in America as well, because it seems like that’s where the best times happen.  By: Jake Kilroy
