This wedding is the ultimate guide in modern California glam. Hosted at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Jenna and Eric’s wedding is a nod to old-timey Hollywood sophistication with a slightly updated, contemporary feel (i.e. the groom wore no socks). This sunny, iconic spot—informally known as the “Pink Palace”—is a little bit of palm-treed paradise in the midst of the busy, bustling city of Los Angeles. With perfect tropical appeal as well as a touch of flowery luxury, this joyous bash and its gorgeous locale will knock your socks off—quite literally, in the groom’s case.

We caught up with the lovely bride, Jenna, to learn a little more about what made their day so special.

What in particular drew you to your venue, The Beverly Hills Hotel?

Jenna: "My husband and I currently live in New York City, but I grew up in Los Angeles not far from the Beverly Hills Hotel. Once we decided we wanted to have the wedding in LA we knew that The BHH was our spot. It's such an iconic hotel with the most beautiful outdoor space.  It not only fit what we were looking for aesthetically, but it had the vibe we were going for as well."

Tell us about your inspiration for your wedding—it appears as though sophistication and subtle glamour were the keys.

Jenna: "I don't usually like huge pops of color, I wanted to keep everything more subtle and understated design-wise. We mainly used neutral/white flowers, but I wanted a lot of green as well to give it that pop. It was also sort of a nod to the BHH banana leaf print that covers the walls. The hotel is already so beautiful, it doesn't need much! Everything that we added felt like it was part of the space and worked really well with what was already there. We added a disco ball to keep with the vibe for the party/after-party."

Can you share what your favorite part of the wedding day was?

Jenna: "We were so fortunate to be able to share this event with our family and friends. It was more amazing than we could have imagined. It was an incredible day all-around, but my favorite part was marrying Eric of course! The party was pretty fun too."

The Setting

What could be better than a backdrop of tropical gardens and blooming bougainvillea to not only brighten your day but bolster your wedding photos? You really can’t go wrong when it comes to finding a pretty place to capture solo photos, pictures with your honey or snaps of the entire wedding party. The best word for the hotel grounds is opulent—perfectly dripping in Californian casual-but-deluxe.

The Crystal Garden

This lovely, luscious hideaway is just the place to state your vows in the presence of friends and family. Surrounded by verdant greenery and a stately path to walk down the aisle, the utterly romantic archway will convince you this is the place—that is, if everything else hasn’t already. Load it down with flowers like this couple did and you’ll experience not only the magic of walking into your own wedding, but also the feeling of being part of a genuine movie set.

The Crystal Ballroom

What’s a good party without a party palace to match it? You’ll find your own palace-like space in the Crystal Ballroom, complete with a stage for live music and continued festivity. With room for up to 450 people, you can definitely invite a crowd to help you boogie down and ring in your new marriage in style.

The Rooms

Nestled into a lush, green expanse of palms upon palms, the rooms and suites at the Beverly Hills Hotel will spoil you silly. With fancy furnishings, marble-laden bathrooms (peach-hued marble, no less) and countless nods to the glamour of an older time, these rooms provide a cushy corner to relax and prepare for your wedding day. Whether in solitude or surrounded by your best buds, you’re sure to get off to a smooth and serene start after tucking in to a night of sleep in these palatial beds.
