We've all heard of pop-up shops and probably have made it to a couple featuring your favorite brands. But what about a pop-up cocktail club? The LINE in LA's Koreatown, thought just that when they launched their new bar program not too long ago. They called in the Happy Hour Agency to design and produce the experience after meeting them at another pop-up a couple years back. Situated at The LINE's lobby bar, the menu has fun drinks like "The Hey Bae" that's served in a punch bowl. We caught up with The LINE about the new experience and how they are providing "a platform for our community to express themselves creatively."

What are some fun items on the menu?

Every cocktail from Happy Hour Agency is designed for fun! The Hey Bae is a served in a punch bowl with Schisandra berry infused rum, St. George Spiced Pear, Korean pear, honey citron tea, lemon and is great for sharing with a group of friends. The Shroom Choco Laka is also great. It features a milk blend with chocolate bitters and served in a glass milk carton.

What was the inspiration behind the pop-up and how it was designed?

We've been big fans of Happy Hour Agency for a while. When they craft cocktails, it's really about the experience. If we had to sum up Happy Hour Agency in one word it would be "fun." The LINE aims a platform for our community to express themselves creatively. Happy Hour Agency develops each concept based on inspiration from Koreatown, partners and the hotel itself.

The backstory of the collaboration with The LINE Hotel?

We first discovered Happy Hour Agency through a pop up called Chateau le Sploosh. Floored by their creativity and ability to completely transform a space, we kept them top of mind. Once our new bar program launched, we knew we wanted them to be part of it.

What's been the goal for hosting this pop-up?

Our main goal has been to bring together community through a celebration of art, design and cocktails. Through the production of each event, Happy Hour Agency unites the best in set design, lighting design and music.
